The ICC Men’s ODI World Cup 2023 has unveiled its complete match schedule, including venues, dates, and timings. A highly anticipated clash between arch-rivals India and Pakistan is set to take place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 14.
Ahmedabad will also witness the tournament’s opening match on October 5, featuring England and New Zealand, the two teams that contested the thrilling tied final in 2019. Interestingly, they had previously faced off in the opener of the 1996 World Cup, which was also held in Ahmedabad. India will begin its campaign against Australia in Chennai just three days later.
The direct qualifiers for the men’s ICC World Cup 2023 include New Zealand, England, India (host), Bangladesh, Pakistan, Australia, Afghanistan, and South Africa.
